The Girard Homemakers are hosting a Candidates Forum Thursday, May 17 at 7 p.m. at Girard Hall, 17 miles west of Fairview on Highway 201. Come and hear what the candidates have to say and bring your questions. All area candidates have been invited to attend. At press time, two gubinatorial candidates Jim Lynch and Neil Livingstone, US Senate candidate Dennis Teske and local candidates Matt Rosendale, Montana senate District 19; Richland County Commissioner candidates Don Steppler and Duane Mitchell; Julie French, Montana Senate District 18 candidate; Austin Knudsen, HD 36 candidate; HD 37 candidates Tami Christensen and David Halvorson; Clerk of District Court candidates Janice Klempel, Vickie Getchell and Yvonne Volkman are planning to attend.
