A decision has been made to modify the process of dispersing the capital credit retirement checks to consumers. In the past LYREA has always handed the checks out during the annual meeting. This year there will NOT be any checks handed out during the annual meeting. Instead, the capital credit retirement will be applied to the consumer’s active electric account. The bill you receive the first part of June will have a notification of capital credit retirement, so you will be able to see the amount that has been applied to your electric account. Former members with inactive accounts will receive their checks by mail.
