Six Eagle Football Players Named All-Conference

Six Sidney Eagle football players have been named 2012 Eastern ”A” All-conference players.

All the coaches in the conference voted to decide which players got the honors.

Sidney Senior, Jim Topp was selected as 1st team All-Conference Offensive tackle and 2nd team All-Conference Defensive lineman.

Caleb Benson, junior, was selected as 1st team Wide Receiver.

Junior, Dace Fisher was selected as 2nd team Defensive End

Jordan Stevens, junior, was selected 2nd team Strong Safety and Honorable Mention Running Back.

Sophomore, Cody Johnson was selected as Honorable Mention kicker and Gresh Jones, also a sophomore, was selected as Honorable Mention Defensive Cornerback.

The selection committee for the All-star games will be meeting within the next couple weeks to decide who will play in them.
