The Northeastern Arts Network Presents The Bottom Line Duo on January 31

The Northeastern Arts Network proudly presents The Bottom Line Duo on Thursday, January 31st at 7:00 pm as part of their Big Sky Concert Series.

The Bottom Line Duo is a unique husband and wife team that will forever change how you think about the cello and double bass. Classically trained virtuoso technique is paired with a stage presence of joy and humor that takes you on a journey that transcends the music. The duo is one of three internationally touring bass and cello duos in history and has reached over 300,000 students in the U.S., Europe and Canada via their assembly programs which thrills audiences with their fast fingers, wits and bows.

Spencer and Traci Hoveskeland created Bottom Line Duo with a mission to present chamber music in a manner that is accessible to all audiences with humor and a wide repertoire of classical, modern and popular sounds. Works by the masters in classical music are mixed with works unique to the duo and often may include pieces as varied as a popular Ventures tune, an Ozzy Osbourne Disco tribute, or a stunning brass concerto followed by a famous opera aria. The duo performs music in the strictest sense however; they also enjoy a good laugh!

Concert tickets can be purchased at the door. For more information contact Candy Markwald 406-488-4155 or Jill Hill 406-489-4304.
