Glendive Agri-Trade Exposition (GATE) to be Held Feb. 8-9

The 35th Annual Glendive Agri-Trade Exposition (GATE) will be held Feb. 8-9 at the Eastern Plains Event Center in Glendive. This premier ag-related exposition will again offer a forum for contacting hundreds of people, showing and sharing ideas, and visiting with friends, old and new. The 2013 GATE will also feature the 13th Annual Bull Show and the 8th Annual Stallion Show on Friday, February 8.

The GATE will be open 9 am to 6 pm on Friday and 8 am to 4 pm on Saturday. Gateway Cowbelles will again serve their fantastic food throughout both days. Northern Ag Network “Voices of Montana” will be broadcasting live from the tradeshow as will KXGN and KGLE.

This year will showcase a great line-up of vendors and displays; educational seminars; raffle of 4 rifles; banquet and dance. Ag seminars are scheduled both Friday and Saturday in the Sobotka Room of the Eastern Plains Event Center. Seminars will be as follows:

The 2013 GATE will also have a raffle which will include the 4 following prizes!

The Grand Prize will be a Remington 700 CDL 50th Anniversary 7mm Mag fluted SS Barrel Walnut Stock with a Burris Eliminator ii 4-12x42 Black with laser Range Finder.

1st Prize will be a CZ USA Wingshooter Deluxe 12 GA 28” Barrels Engraved Over/Under shotgun!

2nd Prize will be a Savage 25 Light Varmint 17 Hornet Blue/Laminated with Nikon Coyote Special Scope.

3rd Prize will be a Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22 Black AR Style 22 Long Rifle with Sights. Tickets are $5 each or 6 for $25. Drawing will be after the banquet Saturday evening.

The GATE Banquet will be at the Moose Lodge Saturday evening for dining, dancing, and entertainment. The evening will begin with a social at 6 pm, followed by dinner with humorist John Dunnigan! Then dance the night away with the lively music of L.A.W (Life After Work) band. Tickets may be purchased at the GATE.
