Jaycie Rau, sixth grader at East Fairview School, was one of many students who sent in their artwork for the North Dakota Junior Duck Stamp Program. Rau’s piece, drawn with colored pencil and chalk, was chosen for first place. 1,075 entries were sent in throughout the state. As her mom, Taunya Rau, stated, “She (Jaycie) was pretty surprised.” Jaycie, who is crazy about horses, wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up.
