The 1st Lutheran Church will be offering a children’s program this summer. The new program will accept 30 children, from those that have completed Kindergarten up to 5th grade. The goal is for it to be like a fun summer day camp, as the kids will get to go swimming, do arts and crafts, park and rec. activities, as well as spend time at the library. There will be four certified teachers that will also offer tutoring to keep the kids learning throughout the summer.
The program will be held at the Christian Education Building across the street from 1st Lutheran.
The program, which will begin May 28th, will operate Monday through Friday from 8:30 until 5:15 all summer long.
The charge is $25 a day, which will include a summer pass to the pool, all park and rec. activities, breakfast, lunch and a snack.
