Watford City Pick Up the Patch June 1

Pick up the Patch is a community-wide effort to clean up debris left behind once the winter snow melts in the Watford City and surrounding areas. It’s a great opportunity for people and businesses to come together and show their community support and a great opportunity to meet your neighbors.

This year’s ‘Pick up the Patch’ will begin on Saturday, June 1st and continue throughout the week to enable those people or businesses that are unable to help on a weekend but are willing to help, do so.

The Civic Center in Watford City will be the check in spot on Saturday morning. Here you will be able to obtain supplies such as: water, maps, gloves, garbage bags and a vest. It’ll also be a great place to meet with your team and coordinate your efforts. Families with children are welcome to help out but will be assigned to the parks, walking paths, schools, fishing ponds, etc.

Lunch will be provided to all volunteers on Saturday from 12:30 – 2:00pm and dinner from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.

If you are interested in helping ‘Pick up the Patch’ please contact Laura Sanford at 701-570-5084 or Justin Smith at 701-570-0456.
