Major Wayne Mott (R), who acts as the Team Lead as well as the pilot for Snowbird 1, presents a gift of appreciation to Sidney’s Bryan Prevost, who was instramental in bringing the Snowbirds to Sidney for the second time.
Tuesday evening, a reception was held for the Snowbirds and the sponsors, during which the presentations were made. Wade VanEvery of the Sidney Chamber presents Snowbird 3, Captain Brett Parker, with a signed print. Captain Parker was in attendance the last time the Snowbirds flew in Sidney.
With the help of select students from Sidney and Lambert, Snowbird 3, Captain Brett Parker, goes over roll call Wednesday morning, May 22 during his visit to West Side School.
The Canadian Snowbirds thrilled a huge audience with their precision aerial performance Wednesday evening at the Sidney-Richland airport. The previous day, the team based out of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan was sanctioned by the FAA, allowing the Snowbirds to fly in the US, and treating anyone watching to a great show.
