B&B Sales and Service to Open This Fall

B&B Builders of Sidney is opening a new office/warehouse complex which will house B&B Sales and Service at the corner of Hwy 16S and Hwy 23 just south of the weigh scales. The new business will have three parts: Chief Steel Buildings Sales and Service, Trailer Sales and Service and Butler Steel Buildings Sales and Service.

The trailers, which will be from various manufacturers, will be towable by a pickup. Flat beds, cargo, gooseneck, tilt bed and dump trailers will all be available. “We’ll have a nice selection of 30 to 40 trailers on the lot,” B&B co-owner Roger Byer said. The first trailers will be available in September, with the full facility up and running before winter. B&B is looking to hire a sales manager and a service technician for that aspect of the business.

Byer said they are starting the trailer sales and service because of a need in the community. “With as much activity as there is, trailer sales and service are really needed in our area,” he said.

In the same complex, customers from Montana and North Dakota will be able to purchase a new steel building. B&B Builders has been a Chief Steel Building dealer for 12 years. They added Butler Steel Buildings last winter. “We know there is a need for steel buildings, especially in the farming community,” Byer said. “Equipment is so much larger and farms are larger. Buildings are needed in more remote areas. With the creation of B&B Sales and Service, we will have a sales department for the general public instead of doing just commercial.” With their experienced concrete and erection crews, B&B will be able to handle everything from sales to finished product.
