Brent Flory's Art on Display at MonDak Heritage Center

The varied art work of the Blue Buffalo Artists will be on display at the MonDak Heritage Center in Sidney during the month of October.

Utah native Brent Flory loves to paint the honest reality of the western experience. Whether it’s cowboys, Native Americans, farmers, ranchers, or their families and animals, his goal is to portray their experiences as close to reality as possible. Quoting from Flory’s biography, he said, “People then were so much more connected to, or reliant on, the land, weather and nature. They appreciated it more because their lives depended on it.” Horses are also an important part of many of Flory’s paintings, recognizing the significant connection between man and horse for thousands of years.

Flory graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.F.A. in Illustration. His work has been in many solo and juried shows and has received many awards including Best of Show, Festival Choice Award and Silver Medal in oils at San Dimas, CA. Flory’s work has been featured in Equine Vision Magazine, with his painting “All I Need” on the cover. He has also been selected as the poster artist for the Dec. 2013 “Art of the American Cowboy Show” at the South Point in Las Vegas.

Flory lives with his wife and family on a ranch near Wallsburg, UT. His work is in many private collections in the U.S., Canada and abroad. To view his exceptional art, go to http://www.brentfloryfineart.com.
