This year there will be a Livestock Judging contest in conjunction with National 4-H Week. Livestock judging is a process where youth evaluate a class of either market or breeding animals based on the desired traits of that species. The contest will be held on October 12, at the Richland County Fairgrounds. The contest is open to all 4-H and FFA members who wish to participate. The registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the contest at 9:00 a.m. If there are any questions please contact the Richland County Extension Office at 406-433-1206.
