The annual Gifts from the Heart will be held December 14th to support those in need again this year. This is held by the Richland County Christmas Coalition to provide Christmas gifts and food boxes for those in need.
Any individual that wishes to participate must reside in Richland County and have children (ages 0-18), that reside with them. The distribution will be on Saturday, December 14th, from 7am until 2pm at the Masonic Lodge.
If you would like to purchase a gift for donation, you may go to participating businesses and churches in Richland County, purchase a gift, pick out a tag, and the sponsor of the tree will deliver the gifts to the church.
All children that receive gifts will also receive hats and mittens. If you would like to donate some, area banks will be collecting them.
If you would like to help, you can make financial donations at Stockman Bank or drop off new unwrapped items at the Masonic Temple on Friday, December 13th from noon until 6 pm.
