County Community-wide Conference - Evening Event Features 3 Local Community Members as Speakers

The Richland County 6th Annual Community-wide Conference - Evening Event will be held on Thursday, March 13th, 2014 and will feature three local community speakers. This FREE event will take place in the Multipurpose Room in the St. Matthew’s Parish Center at 310 7th ST SE in Sidney starting at 5:30 pm with a pasta buffet. The purpose of the county wide conference is to gain community input and engage individuals, organizations, and agencies in efforts to better Richland County. Brian McGinnis

Brian was born and raised in Sidney, went to college in Kansas, and returned to Sidney in 1985 to start an electronics/computer business.  Eventually, the business was split and sold to become a number of separate businesses in the area.  In 2000, Brian started Exdivio Solutions, Inc. to focus on software development full time and this continues to be his primary focus.

His volunteer community service has included the Jaycees, Kiwanis, the Chamber, RED, his church, and Sidney Health Center. Current hobbies include motorcycling, scuba diving, and home automation.

He is married to Patti; and they have two boys, Michael age 15, and Ryan, age 10.

Jonathan Skinner

Jonathan Skinner is the Principal of West Side Elementary School, which serves first through third grade students.  Prior to transitioning to his current role, Jon taught Middle School and High School math for nine years.

A native of Dillon, Jon earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Mathematics and a Master of Educational Leadership from The University of Montana. 

As an undergraduate student, Jon was a four year starter for the UM Grizzlies football team. In 2012, Jon, along with his teammates from the 2001 National Championship team, was inducted into UM Grizzly Athletics Hall of Fame.

Jon enjoys biking, fishing, and enjoying all that Montana has to offer with his wife, Cami. They have lived in Sidney since about 2007. He has a lot of favorite sayings, but believes his favorite would be “Nothing of Worth is Ever Free.”

Theresa Livers

She is a Native to the Bakken area; Theresa has a Masters degree in Community Health Administration. With over 30 years of experience in healthcare fields she has had a variety of work experiences from hospitals and nursing homes to community health and academic settings.

She is currently working at Sidney Health Center as the Continuum of Care Administrator and holds a Fellow Certification in the American College of Healthcare Executives. She holds professional licenses as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, and Licensed Massage Therapist.

Most importantly she is now an official grand-mother! She and her husband, Colin have three grown children and four grand-children.
