South 40 Welcomes New Manager

The South 40 Restaurant is pleased to announce the addition of Rachael Campbell Dutton to their management staff. Rae has been employed in the dining room since July as a server, and has been shift leader since Sept. and now has been promoted to Manager on Duty to help insure each guest's experience is the best possible. Rae and her 2 children Marleah, 9 and Breyden, 4, joined her husband, Renny, from Libby last spring after he'd been here for several months. She actually applied on facebook to Lola when her husband informed her that he was eating there daily and thought this was where she should apply. Her mother was a restaurant manager for over 10 years so she's gleaned many years of her expertise.

Her past experience included manager of a Pizza Hut, and a variety of positions in health care. Her service staff of 20 will be treated to more thorough training while she motivates with a variety of contests and her own smooth serving style and knowledge. Chef James will coordinate with her the promotion of his menu items that will include their instruction on the contents and cooking method of the special as well as the menu itself. Rae will have them doing some samplings at pre shift meetings so they can talk with personal knowledge. She will be working evenings.

Rae loves to sing and has been in competitions for The Voice, American Idol, X Factor and Others. She will be joining "Praise Band at Pella Lutheran" this fall. She has been known to break out in a Happy Birthday for South 40 guests who were celebrating there.
