Great stories can be told by anyone, anywhere, whether you’re working hard in the oil fields, washing dishes at a restaurant, or scribbling away during your office job. The MonDak Writers group encourages people of all writing levels and genres to join. Bring a work in progress (memoir, short story, novel chapter, poem, anything) if you’ve got one, and if you don’t, your brain and possibly a lucky pen will do!
We aim to build a community within Richland County of people who want to express themselves on paper and to celebrate the craft of writing. Our monthly writing workshop will include peer-to-peer review and feedback, group writing exercises, an enthusiastic instructor, and food and drinks. Our first meeting is Tuesday, March 25 at 6 p.m. at the MonDak Heritage Center.
