The Sidney High School Track Team, specifically the Pole Vault participants, and Pole Vaulting coach Steve Yockim, are on the cover and singled out in a story in the May, 2014 issue of “VAULTER” magazine. In it’s lead-in, the magazine states:
“Our high school feature this month takes us to Montana. Sidney High School in Sidney, Montana is doing well in the world of pole vaulting. Their coach, Steve Yockim, has been with SHS for 19 years now. He is doing amazing things with his team. You will definitely want to see what the Eagles have going on.”
Congratulations to Coach Yockim, the many participants he has worked with in his career, and the Sidney High School Track and Field coaching staff for being a part of a nationally respected program, and bringing recognition to the efforts of our kids in our great community!
