Microtel Inn & Suites of Sidney Hires Sales Director

In order to provide an excellent level of customer, and community service, Microtel Inn & Suites has hired Karolyn Shultz as Director of Sales. Schultz will be visiting with area businesses to find out what their needs are so that the Microtel can ensure their needs are being met. "She and I will also be selling Sidney," manager Crystal Denton explained. "Individual businesses always need to be selling Sidney. As we work to increase the quality of life and do more events, we need more people to be involved and supportive."

While Denton will still be involved, Schultz will be the "go to" person in the community. "She will be the person in the community, building relationships, and continuing the success of the Microtel, in preparation for the new Wingate Inn which will be opening next year," Denton said.

Schultz worked as a Department of Labor customer service specialist at Job Service in Williston, right in the thick of the oil business. Even though she's a Montana girl, the prairie winters were a new experience. After commuting for 2 winters, she wanted to be in Sidney. She's excited about the opportunity to contribute her expertise and enthusiasm to the Microtel, Wingate, and the Sidney community. "My quality of life has gone up dramatically," she said.

Schultz is married to Matt Schultz who works for XTO. Their oldest daughter works at the SHC Cancer Center, while the younger daughter is a student in Bozeman but will be employed as a nanny in Sidney for the summer.

To investigate how Schultz can assist your business, call her at 406-482-9011 or visit her at the Microtel Inn & Suites, 1500 S. Central Ave., Sidney.
