Women's Foundation Summer Roundup Aims to Raise Funds to Support Montana Women and Girls

The Women’s Foundation of Montana, a project of the Montana Community Foundation, is hosting a party in celebration of strong Montana women and 100 years of Montana women voting. The celebration includes dinner and a barn dance and will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 2 at the Marchi Angus Ranch near Polson.

“We recognize that one of the greatest pools of untapped potential in Montana is our women,” said Jen Euell, Women’s Foundation Program Director. “The Summer Roundup is a great opportunity for everyone to come together and have some fun while helping build our resources in support of advancing women’s economic opportunities.”

The event will not only include women entrepreneurs, but also policymakers, philanthropists, business leaders and Montanans of all ages who share a passion for creating a brighter future for women and girls.

The funds raised will go towards the growth of the Women’s Foundation’s million dollar endowment, funding the next 100 years of progress for Montana women. This effort is a part of the Women’s Foundation’s $100,000 for Women Initiative, working to invest $100,000 in the advancement of Montana women and girls this year in celebration of the 100-year anniversary of women’s suffrage in the state.

The Women’s Foundation works to create systemic change, supporting initiatives that give girls the tools to be financially successful, and programs that improve women’s economic security and equalize the pay gap.
