McKenzie County NDSU Extension Agent, Karla Ryan will be working with producers to help them make decisions about the recent farm program using an Excel spreadsheet developed by Andrew Swenson, NDSU Department of Agribusiness and Applied Economics. A hands-on approach will be taken using laptops to enter producer’s individual information.
Work days will include two sessions on each of the following dates (all times are Central Standard Time):
December 15 – 9 am or 1 pm, Extension Office, Watford City
December 17 – 9 am or 1 pm, Cartwright Hall, Cartwright
December 19 – 9 am or 1 pm, Extension Office, Watford City
Producers should bring the following information with them to the work day:
FSA Summary Acreage History Report containing current base acres, CC yields, planted acres and acres prevented from being planted for farms in which you are the current owner and/or operator in years 2009-2012.
Completed Price Loss Coverage (PLC) Yield Worksheet containing actual farm yields for years 2008-2012.
Because of limited equipment, preregistration is required. Please call (701) 444-3451 to preregister one day prior to session date.

Meeting Scheduled
NDSU Extension Service and Farm Service Agency will partner up for an informational meeting on December 16 at 9:00 AM CT in the Veteran Memorial Building in Watford City. Preregistration is not required to attend this meeting. All producers and owners are encouraged to attend.
