Candlelight Vigil Jan. 23rd

We would like to invite you to a Candlelight Vigil on January 23, 2015, at 7pm at the Richland County Courthouse steps, as a memorial to those who have been lost because of alcohol or drugs. This event kicks off National Drug Fact week, January 26th through February 1st, and aims to bring awareness to the dangers of drugs and alcohol on individuals and their families. This year’s Fact Week is intended to Shatter the Myths of alcohol and drugs. Candles will be available at the event and donations will be accepted to help the 7th Judicial Adult Treatment Court Graduates continue their graduation traditions.

This event is brought to you by Richland County Stand, which is a community group that focuses on activities for youth and the community to prevent the use of alcohol, drugs and tobacco. If you are interested in participating or have questions, please contact Vicky Parker or Missy Smies at 433-4097.
