Stockman Bank Announces Promotion

RICHEY – Jim Trotter has recently been promoted to branch manager for Stockman Bank in Richey. His responsibilities include overseeing bank operations and expanding all lending activities for the branch.

Trotter grew up in Richey on the family farm and ranch and was the Richey High School valedictorian for the class of 2005. He then went on to graduate with highest honors from Montana State University with a master of professional accountancy degree in 2010, and a bachelor of science degree in business with an accounting option and a minor in agricultural business in 2009. While attending MSU, he received the 2010 Montana Society of Certified Public Accountants Medallion Award, the MSU Junior Class Award for having the highest GPA in the class, and was listed on the President's List from 2005-2010.

Trotter has been a certified public accountant since May 2012, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Montana Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Billings Chapter of Certified Public Accountants. In his spare time, Trotter enjoys farming, ranching, hunting, golfing and playing basketball. He is happy to be back in Richey and getting involved in the community.
