SHS Drama Places 1st, Speech 3rd at Huntley Project Meet

The SHS Speech and Drama Team travelled to Huntley Project for their last meet before divisionals in Glendive on January 24th. Competing against 29 schools the Drama Team placed 1st in Class A Sweeps and the Speech team took 3rd in Class A Sweeps.

The Drama Team was led by Tess Ler & Tessa Hill who went up against 34 different competitors and placed 2nd in Humorous Duo. Also competing in Humorous Duo were Sarah Turek and Camden Berka who placed 7th and Ben Broadhead & Luke Turek competed. Serious Duo Laura Elmore and Jaz Hodge placed 4th. Classical Duo Kyle Topp & Scottlyn Anglesey placed 4th and Micheal Stevens & Kaitlyn Tibbits placed 8th. Humorous Solo Hannah Feliciano competed.

The Speech Team placing: Humorous Oral Interpretation Christian Anglesey placed 4th. Impromptu: Clay Carpenter placed 3rd & Kasey Gorder placed 4th. Memorized Public address: Shelby Reidle placed 7th and Jorhen Carpenter competed. Expository: Kennedy Anglesey placed 7th. Original Oratory Danny Johnson competed. Divisionals in Glendive this coming Saturday! If you feel like showing some Eagle Spirit come down and support these kids!
