Hess GM, MDU VP Of Business Development To Address Mondak Energy Alliance Feb. 12 In Williston

The MonDak Energy Alliance is pleased to announce the general manager of Hess Corporation (Hess) North Dakota and the executive vice president of business development at MDU Resources Group, Inc. will headline its February meeting.

Hess GM Stephen McNally has more than 30 years of experience in oil and gas exploration, development and production. His extensive career has taken him to places all over the globe including Minot, N.D. the past three years.

MDU Resources VP Dennis Haider is headquartered in Bismarck, N.D. Haider has 40 years of energy-industry experience with the majority of his time serving in various roles at subsidiaries of MDU Resources Group.

“This is exciting to see the caliber of speakers lined up for this event,” says Shawn Wenko, Williston Economic Development executive director. “Their experience and understanding of this area is unmatched. There is no one that can gauge the future of this area better than these guys.”

The MonDak Energy Alliance program will also feature representatives from Burlington Northern Santa Fe, Job Service North Dakota and the Williston Area Water Supply Project. Each speaker will provide an update on projects for the current year.

The MonDak Energy Alliance was formed in 2008 by business and civic leaders from eastern Montana and western North Dakota. The group seeks to enhance development of oil, biofuels, coal and wind energy.

The Alliance meeting is free and open to the public. It will begin at 7:30 p.m .; immediately following the Williston Chamber’s Business after Hours at the Grand Hotel.
