Stockman Bank Sidney Announces Staff Promotions

SIDNEY – Stockman Bank announces the promotions of Dana Jonsson, Wade Whiteman and Melanie Wadley.

Jonsson has been promoted to vice president, Ag loan officer for Stockman Bank in Sidney. Her responsibilities include developing and servicing agricultural loans and assisting clients with their lending needs. She will also be responsible for the day to day management of the Ag Department.

Jonsson has 14 years of banking experience and has been a great asset to the Ag Department at Stockman Bank since 2006. She graduated from the University of Minnesota – Crookston, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in business management and marketing.

She is currently a Kiwanis Board Member and the President of Savage, Inc. She resides in Savage with her husband Kjeld, and four year old son, Karsten. Jonsson may be reached at 433-8629.

Whiteman has been promoted to vice president, Ag loan officer. He joined Stockman Bank as an Ag loan officer in 2010. His responsibilities include developing and servicing agricultural loans and assisting clients with their lending needs. He will also be responsible for the day to day management of the Ag Department.

Whiteman, a Montana native, is a 1996 graduate of Richey High School. He graduated from Montana State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science–livestock management and also earned an associate of applied science degree in agri business in 1998 from Dawson Community College. His agri business knowledge and strong farming and ranching background will provide valuable resources not only for customers and potential clients, but for the community as well.

He is actively involved in the community and is currently involved with the Richland County Conservation District as a board member, and he also serves on the board of HealthWorks.

He resides in Sidney with his wife, Hannah, and their two daughters, Aubree and Ella. He enjoys spending his free time on the family farm/ranch in Richey, working on vehicles in his shop, or camping with his family at Fort Peck. Whiteman may be reached at 433-8630.

Wadley has been promoted to real estate loan assistant and real estate construction lender trainee. Melanie will eventually assist with in-house real estate loans including mobile homes.

Wadley has been in banking since 2012. "She has been a great addition to the real estate department working with Secondary Market loans", stated Garth Kallevig, President of Stockman Bank Sidney.

She resides in Sidney with her husband, Jeff and their two daughters, Cassidy and Mackenzie. She keeps busy with family activities, and also as a Zumba instructor.
