Stockman Bank Recognized As Top Performing Bank

Stockman Bank was recognized by the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) as one of the top 25 industry performers in 2014. They ranked 9th overall in the United States for Community Banks with more than $1 billion in assets. Stockman Bank has received this distinction numerous times since recognition began in 1998.

“Being named the Best of the Best for 2015 by the ICBA is a reflection of Stockman’s commitment to our customers and our communities,” comments Bill Coffee, chief executive officer of Stockman Bank. “It is this commitment that allows Stockman to continue to grow and serve more of our neighbors across Montana.”

The Independent Banker, the national magazine of the ICBA, named the top community banks for 2014 in their May 2015 issue. The annual performance ranking examines banks, such as Stockman Bank, based on asset size and ownership type using FDIC call reports.

Stockman Bank specializes in commercial, development, real estate and Ag lending. Established in 1953, Stockman Bank is still Montana owned and operated and has 34 banking locations across the state, including two locations that recently opened in Missoula. Stockman is committed to Montana and looks forward to continuing the Community Banking visions they were founded upon over 60 years ago.
