Tech Camp Offers Youth Opportunity Experience Robotics Activities

Youth who will be in 5th and 6th grades this fall are invited to participate in the McKenzie County Extension Office’s Tech Camp featuring robotics, science and technology activities. The camp will start at 9 am and conclude by 12:30 pm on Wednesdays, June 10, 17 and 24. All these campers will gather at the McKenzie County Extension Office located at 205 6th Street NW, behind the Courthouse in the County Building in Watford City. On June 17 campers will go to Summit Trail, south of the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park to do GPS navigation activities. The group will also gather on June 30 from 1 pm to 5 pm at the Wild West Water Park to learn about taking pictures with digital cameras at Summit Trail. Pre-registration for the camp is requested by Friday, June 5 at the McKenzie County Extension Office by calling 701-444-3451 or email Extension Agent Marcia Hellandsaas at [email protected].

The camp is free of charge and includes morning snacks and a noon meal.
