Miss America's Outstanding Teen To Attend Miss Montana Pageant

GLENDIVE Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2015 Olivia McMillan will join in the festivities at the Miss Montana Scholarship Program and Miss Montana's Outstanding Teen co-pageants in Glendive June 11-13. From Centerville Georgia , Olivia and Miss Montana's Outstanding Teen Haylee Storlie, became friends last August at the Miss America's Outstanding Teen pageant in Orlando. Both are singers and honor students.

Olivia's career goal is to be a vocal performer. She received a Kovner Fellowship covering the full cost of attendance to The Julliard School of Music in vocal performance beginning this fall.

Along with the title of Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2015, Olivia won a $25,000 cash scholarship and nearly $1 million of tuition scholarships towards her college education.

In addition to her scholastic success, Olivia was named by Teen Vogue as a Top 10 teen who changed the world in 2014. Olivia's mantra? "I'm all about self-love and appreciating your life no matter what cards you're dealt," she says. Olivia has already performed and spoken to audiences totaling over 1 million and will continue to inspire others.

Olivia will perform each night during the Miss Montana pageant at the DCHS auditorium, will participate in the parade Friday June 12 at 1PM, the Gala at the EPEC after Friday' crowning of the new Miss Montana's Outstanding Teen and at Saturday's Royal Tea at the EPEC. Fourteen Miss Montana contestants and eight teens, age 13-17 are vying to be Miss Montana or Montana's Outstanding Teen. Over $300,000 in prizes and scholarships will be awarded.
