Lundemo Firearms & Sports will Open in October

Lundemo Firearms & Sports will be opening its doors this month supplying firearms, ammo, powder, bullets, and Dillon re-loaders; the gun shop has about 200 guns for sale and will accommodate special orders. They also supply American Surplus Ice Castle fish houses, which have been a big seller to those in the oilfield. Owner Duane Lundemo, who is a hunter himself, initially started the small business out of his shop at home and over the last four years the business has grown.

"Business was good and it was keeping me busy, so I felt I could make the move into town," said Lundemo of his decision to move the home-based business into Sidney.

The process of moving into town took about a little less than a year and finding an appropriate space was key. Lundemo and his business partner Jerry Choate will be renting space in the same building as M3 meats; Lundemo Firearms & Sports is located at 703 East Main Street, Sidney, MT and their days and hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm with the possibility of being open Saturdays with shortened hours. The owners are currently waiting to be licensed and want to make sure that everything is up to par before opening their doors. Details are being finalized as inventory is moved into the shop and displayed in preparation for opening day.
