Take a Christmas Stroll in Sidney Saturday, November 28

The Sidney Area Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture has a fantastic afternoon and evening of fun planned for Saturday, November 28.

Take advantage of fantastic sales all over town, visit with your friends and neighbors, and check out all the food, beverage and craft vendors.

BPA will host a kid's carnival from noon to 4pm in the Village Square Mall. For a minimum $5 charge, kids can enjoy the bean bag toss, coin toss, bowling and much, much more.

Check out the tantalizing aromas in the RestorX building from 1 to 4 pm as the area's top chili cooks vie for prizes. After the judging is complete at 2pm, the public is welcome to try free samples. The Cutting Edge Dance Studio will host sugar cookie decorating for a small fee, the Boy Scouts will be selling popcorn, and Lower Yellowstone REC will be serving free hot chocolate.

The classic movie, "The Christmas Story" will be playing at the Centre Theatre at 1pm. with free admission for all.

Get your free photo taken with Santa at the Richland County Public Library from 2:30 to 5pm.

Check out all the beautiful trees, wreaths, and swags at the MonDak Heritage Center from 4 to 5pm, then come back for the Parade of Trees auction at 6. All proceeds benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Richland County and the Family Resource Center.

The Parade of Lights begins at 7pm and travels down Central Avenue to Reese and Ray's IGA where Santa will handing out candy canes to the kids.
