The Sidney Middle School AAU Wrestlers had another big weekend on the road. Friday the wrestlers traveled to Billings to dual the Darkhorse Club Middle School Wrestlers. The Eagles were victorious in very tough and exciting matches that ended with a 49-47 Eagle win.
The wrestlers got on the bus after the dual and headed for Belgrade. The team came home as champions over Belgrade Middle School. Saturday's victories in Belgrade Duals against Laurel 70-27, Dillon 63-39, East Helena 75-24, Belgrade 69-30, Lewistown 61-39, and in the championship finals they faced-off again versus Darkhorse with another exciting 44-42 win.
The middle schoolers boarded the bus and headed back to Billings to wrestle again on Sunday at the Darkhorse Invitational. The team won the medium team trophy at the invitational.
