Northwest Landowners Association Hosts Informational Sessions with Karen BuddFalen and Frank Falen

Berthold, N.D. — Northwest Landowners Association will be hosting Frank Falen and Karen BuddFalen of the BuddFalen Law Offices on Monday, April 4th, for a series of informational sessions regarding private property rights; the relationships between county, state, and federal authority; and the level of control held by local leadership. The sessions will be held on Monday, April 4th, at the Mountrail County South Complex in Stanley. The BuddFalen Law Offices has been serving property owners for over twenty years throughout Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Washington, and Wyoming. “With specialties including local zoning and property rights, energy law, and other areas of law affecting ranchers, farmers, and other landowners, Karen and Frank will have so much information to provide to area landowners and local elected officials,” remarked Troy Coons, Chairman of Northwest Landowners Association. “We are so thankful that they are taking the time to visit North Dakota to speak about the emerging needs of property owners. The informational sessions are a tremendous opportunity to learn from two individuals with incredible expertise.”

The sessions will be divided into two groups: 1) Landowner & Community Session from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to discuss private property rights, easements, and eminent domain; and 2) County Commissioner & Local Leadership Session from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to discuss the relationships between county, state, and federal authority, while highlighting the level of control maintained at the local level. The informational sessions are free to attend, and individuals are asked to RSVP to the individual sessions on the Northwest Landowners Association website (www.nwlandowners.com).
