Watford City Student's Art Featured In North Dakota Travelling Art Show

 

Shelby Foreman's Bobcat piece is currently travelling with the North Dakota Student Travelling Art Show. This piece will be displayed at the Long X Bottle Shop in Watford, ND starting May 27 with an open house May 28 from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.

A Senior at Watford City High School, Shelby Foreman, has been involved with Leann Erikson's art class since Junior High, spending a minimum of 2 hours a day enhancing her talent. "Her level of skill is even higher than my own, she has quite the talent and is very passionate in her work," said Erikson.

Shelby Foreman's piece that was the Silver Key Winner in the 2015 North Dakota Regionals Scholastic Art & Writing Show.

Foreman's art has won an honorable mention in the Badlands Association Art Show in Dickinson, ND and was a Silver Key winner at the North Dakota Regionals for the Scholastic Art & Writing in 2015.

Currently, her Bobcat piece is travelling in 2016 North Dakota Student Travelling Art Show. "She is an artist that takes her time, patience and pays attention to detail. Very talented,"said Erikson.
