To show their continuing support for first responders and fire fighters, XTO Energy donated $8000 to the Richland County Fire Department last Friday. "They are crucial in everything we do, and to the community," stated Lynn Welker, XTO public relations.
The fire department will use the donation to purchase new turnout gear, a purchase which is long overdue according to fire chief Larry Christensen and fire marshall/deputy fire chief Rob Gilbert.
