Siggy's & "Dub" C's Offer a Unique Experience Along with Delicious Dining

David and Lindsay Wingerter are the owners of not just one, but two unique eateries in Watford City. Conveniently attached to one another, Siggy's specialty sandwich shop serves delicious gourmet sandwiches like their best-selling Chicken Shack Ranch or Gourmet Roast Beef Sandwich complimented with their in-house made black garlic mayo, or perhaps their lamb and chicken gyros; then, patrons can head next door to Dub' C's Creamery for a taste of their delicious home-made ice cream.

The Wingerters bought Siggy's in February of 2016.

"David loves to cook and be experimental in his cooking. When the opportunity to buy Siggy's came up, it was perfect timing and we've had great employees who've helped us figure things out. It's definitely been a group effort," said Lindsay Wingerter.

With two store fronts, the Wingerters decided to something they had always wanted to do with the unused space next door and open an ice cream parlor. 'Dub' C's Creamery opened its doors in June.

"There wasn't anything like it around," recalls David Wingerter. "We wanted kids to be able to have a traditional ice-cream parlor memory."

And so, what started with 10 original recipes, now has grown into 30 different flavors and counting. They like to incorporate new ones regularly to keep it fresh and exciting. All the ice cream is made in small 1 – 2 gallon batches and is gone in 2 – 3 days. Flavors like toasted coconut, complimented by their toasted coconut waffle cone, and raspberry cheesecake, topped with homemade raspberry syrup, have people coming back for more. 'Dub' C's also offers hand dipped chocolate cones and frozen bananas, sprinkles galore, and chocolate chip cookie bowls, made by local B-Bonks Bakery. All new ice cream flavors are posted on their Facebook page, so that businesses and individuals can call in orders and have them ready for pick-up.

Employees and owners alike agree the coolest part is when kids come in and they're excited as soon as they walk in the door. Even adults comment that they feel like a kid again when getting a tasty frozen treat at "Dub" C's.
