Community to Receive Public Appreciation From the B&GC

The Boys & Girls Club of Richland County is having their first annual community-wide ‘Thank-a-thon’ Nov. 13th – 19th, as a way to show their appreciation for the support and encouragement that they receive from the residents of Richland County.

There will be banners that read ‘Great Futures Start with You’ displayed around Sidney and yard signs up throughout Richland County.

As a way to show their gratitude, the club usually holds a family feast and invites club members, staff, and their families, but this year they wanted to expand their appreciation even further.

“This year we wanted to shout out our appreciation and thank the entire community for all of their support and involvement with the club,” said Michele Seadeek, Boys & Girls Club of Richland County Development Director.

Their family feast will be held on Thursday, Nov. 17th with a showing of A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving to follow; interested members, staff, families and donors should call the club to let them know if they’re planning to attend, 406-433-6763 by Nov. 15.

During the ‘Thank-a-thon’ week, kids at the club will be showing their artistic sides with a thank you card contest and videos posted on Facebook. The five winning designs will be featured on the Boys & Girls Club of Richland County’s thank you cards being sent in November to all those who have shown their support in time, energy, or funding.

The Boys & Girls Club of Richland County would like to say thank you for your past, present and future involvement. ‘Great Futures Start with You’.
