MonDak Christmas Dec. 4

The 30th Annual MonDak Christmas will be celebrated Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the MonDak Heritage Center. Admission is free and there will be activities for all ages.

This fun afternoon will include live musical performances by the Sidney Public Schools 5th Grade Choir and others still being scheduled, a fundraiser bake sale, free yarn ornament creation and photos with Santa! Additionally, the Christmas trees and wreaths from the Parade of Trees will be on display. Everyone is invited.

The photographic exhibit “Chasing Time: Montana’s One Room Schools, A Photographic Essay by Neil Chaput de Saintonge and Keith Graham” will be displayed at the MDHC from November 30 until February 1st. To celebrate the contributions those schools make to the heritage of Montana, a portion of the funds raised that day will benefit the Rural Schools in Richland County and we will also accept donations of school supplies on their behalf through Christmas.

This event is also a perfect time to shop for unique gifts by local artists in the MonDak’s gift shop where new books, art, and new artists have been added in recent weeks. It will also be time to stock up on baked goodies at the MonDak’s annual bake sale.

If you are interested in donating baked goods to the bake sale or participating in the entertainment, please contact Leann at 406-433-3500.

This event is FREE and open to the public, although donations for photos with Santa are appreciated. Sunday, doors open 1:30 pm. Refreshments will be served. We hope to see you there!
