'Unite A City' Events in Watford City Feb. 10-11

There will be two entertaining events for the whole community of Watford City and beyond. The first night is an all-night adventure that will take place on Friday, February 10th at the Rough Rider Center in Watford City from 10:00 p.m. until 6:15 a.m. It is designed for participants twelve years of age and older. Tickets are currently being sold for $20 each before February 8th and those bought after that will be $25. Call Kelby at (701) 339-5471 to make your reservations and the tickets will be distributed on the night of the event.

On this first night there will be a wide variety of activities including musical artists from Christian Pop to Hip Hop, add BMX teams and a professional skateboarder demonstrating jumps and flips that will make hearts race, listen to inspirational speakers, try swimming and ice skating, and play games such as basketball, volleyball, lazer tag, and dodgeball. Don't forget the pizza, and you have an all-night excursion that will "unite a city" according to Josh Brewer, the program director.

The second event will be held on Saturday, February 11th at 7:00 p.m. at the Watford City Assembly of God. It is a free concert with athletic performances. It will be a way to "reach into your heart and hit a reset button bringing people back to the Father to find true love and hope" said Kelby Timmons, host. Musical artists Cade Thompson, Soleil Bashale, Remedy Drive, and Bobby Bugattii will perform along with the BMX team, Dirt Bros. A professional skateboarder will also perform with his risking-it-all ramps. The variety will have an appeal for everyone. "We're trying to change the world with top quality entertainment."
