Attendees at the Horse Owners Workshop listen to speakers Bill Novak, Neil McLeod and Brady Hanna.

On Saturday, March 18, the Annual Horse Owners Workshop was held at the North Dakota State University (NDSU) Ernie French Center located in Williston, North Dakota. The owners of Williston Saddlery, Bill and Karen Novak hosted the event this year. Attendants who brought a friend with them both received a free gift donated by the Williston Saddlery. There were also door prizes and refreshments provided by them as well.

Neil McLeod, Brady Hannah, and Bill Novak were the speakers for the Annual Horse Owners Workshop. Neil McLeod is a horse trainer who operates Thunderbird Horse Center Ltd. located in Manitoba, Canada. They breed, train, and sell high quality registered American Quarter Horse Association(AQHA) horses. Brady Hanna is a certified farrier located in Alexander, North Dakota. Bill Novak is the owner of Williston Saddlery and also an equine nutritionist. The speakers provided lots of useful information to experienced and amature horse owners.

The Novaks have hosted the event for approximately 37 years! Karen Novak said, "It went well and the speakers did a great job on providing the audience with information. It was not as successful as previous years, but it was still a great turn out!"
