Sidney Wrestlers At The Middle School And Ninth-Tenth Grade National Dual Tournament

Des Moines, IA, March 30-April 3

Sixteen Sidney Eagle wrestlers qualified for Team Montana and wrestled in the AAU National Duals this past weekend.

This is the most wrestlers to ever make it at a time since its beginning, 17 years ago.

There were three middle school teams and three ninth and tenth grade teams. Each individual had to qualify in Great Falls at the Montana State Folk Style Tournament. There were 110 wrestlers from across Montana that participated.

Ninth-Tenth Grade Wrestlers:

106-Kaiden Cline- 1-7-Record

120-Everett Jensen- 2-5-Record

160-Jett Jones- 7-1-Silver Medal

Middle School Wrestlers

106-Aiden Graves- 7-1 Silver Medal

120-Kade Graves- 7-1 Silver Medal

140-Easton Hopes- 3-5 Record

145-Riley Waters- 6-2-Bronze Medal

152-Brodey Skogen- 5-3-Copper Medal

HWT-Trey Schepens- 4-4

All six of these wrestlers were on the “A” Team which was third in the nation losing only to Nebraska and Iowa.

135-Shandyn Gurney- 2-6-C-Team

100-Jordan Darby- 3-2-Alternate
