The MonDak Heritage Center and Northeastern Arts Network present Oktoberfest on Friday, October 6 at 7:00 p.m. at the MonDak, 120 3rd Ave SE, Sidney! Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Featuring live music by the country duo Twin Kennedy, a wide selection of seasonal beers, German brats, and other refreshments. Comprised of West Coast sisters Carli and Julie Kennedy, Twin Kennedy started making music together before they could talk. With Carli on vocals and guitar, and Julie on vocals and violin, these powerhouses will fill your soul with joy and warmth through their seamless harmonies and heartfelt songwriting. No bond compares to that of sisters, and the same is to be said about the blend of their kindred voices, making every performance nothing short of awesome. Tickets are $55/person or $45 for MDHC Members. Must be 21 or older to attend. Proceeds support MDHC and NAN programs, exhibits, and collections preservation.
