Students who are selected to be a "Soaring Eagle" are students who display positive school spirit and are supportive of fellow students, do his or her best academically, participate in at least one school activity, are considerate and respectful of others, are goal-oriented and are all around good students of Sidney High School.
Three students will be selected at the end of each month, beginning in October, from each of the four grades. Selections will be made by class officers and their advisors, for their grade, during the last week of each month.
Once students are selected, the list will be turned in to Miss Thiel or Mrs. Peters by the last school day of the month. Students will be acknowledged on daily announcements and in the The Roundup and or the Sidney Herald.
All selected students for the month will be eligible for a $20 gift certificate drawing to a local business. Also, all selected students will receive a certificate and a treat.
