Annual Lutefisk And Meatball Dinner Feb. 24

First Lutheran Church of Williston, ND will be having their 85th Annual Lutefisk and Meatball Dinner in the Fellowship Hall, Saturday, February 24 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. or until out of food.

The people in charge of arrangements this year are David Brevik, Pat Hamers and Sandy Winter.

The public is invited to attend, tickets are available at the church office, Monday through Friday. Adults, $18, $15 before February 20; students through junior high school, $8 and preschoolers are free.

Six hundred men, women and youth are involved in preparing, planning and serving the family style dinner. There will be delivery service until 3 p.m., and take-out service from 11 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Please call the church, 701-572-6363, on the day of the dinner to arrange these services.

Over 3,000 people were served meatballs and lutefisk at the 2017 dinner. The church will be preparing 2,000 pounds of lutefisk, ½ ton of potatoes for the meal, and 650 pounds of hamburger for meatballs, and all the trimmings for the dinner.
