On February 2, 2018 a Warrant Upon Information was issued out of Montana Seventh Judicial District Court, in Richland County for the arrest of Christopher Michael Laird for Count 1: Burglary, a felony; Count 2: Criminal Mischief, a felony and Count: 3 Theft, a felony. Crimestoppers would like to remind everyone that it is a crime to knowingly harbor a person that is wanted by a law enforcement agency.

The Richland County Sheriff's Office had received a report of a break in to the Valley Fuel in Savage, Montana on September 5, 2017. Upon investigation of this reported incident it was found that someone had entered Valley Fuel unlawfully, doing damage to the business and then removed items from the business with value of over $5,000.00. During the investigation it was determined that Christopher Michael Laird, who is 31 years of age, White Male, 5'7", 130 lbs. with Brown eyes and Brown hair, had taken part in this crime. He has been known to live in Williston, North Dakota and in the state of Washington. Bond has been set at $10,000.00. This warrant can be served in Surrounding States; Montana, North Dakota, Wyoming and Idaho.
