Together we can all make a difference! We are asking adults and children to meet at Sharbono Park at 11 a.m. on Sunday, May 6. Our goal is to clean up the trash in town and along the highway ditch banks, We will go from there depending on how many community volunteers we have.
Neu Construction has generously offered a spot to put a dumpster and trailers for the sorting of garbage behind the old WL Neu Building on Main Street. Hurley’s Oilfield Service offered to provide the dumpster and trucking of garbage at this location.
The Richland County Landfill will only accept sorted trash. The dumpster is for trash only. Trailers will be available for other items such as tires, car batteries, metals, appliances, and tree branches. We cannot take any demo material if you are remodeling.
We will only be accepting items from 12-5 p.m. Do not bring items before 12 p.m. or after 5 p.m. These spots are not permanent drop off spots!
Residents of Fairview please haul your trash to the designated spot. Remember you need to sort your trash. If you are an elderly person or need help removing an item from your residence/yard, we have youth leaders that may be able to help. Call Laurie before the clean up date at 406-489-1094 to arrange help.
