Sidney Middle School Presents Transyl-Mainia May 18 And 19

Everyone is invited to join the Sidney Middle School Players for the totally teen comedy “Transyl-Mainia” May 18 and 19.

Sixteen young actors are preparing a terrific show thanks to the assistance of the Eagle Foundation. All your favorite monsters take the stage as we learn people aren’t so different after all.

Authors Flip Kobler and Cindy Marcus debuted the show in 2013 in Jefferson City, Missouri and it is being produced in Sidney by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc., Englewood, Colorado.

Zariah Gonsales, Presley Ann Rasmussen and Katrina Ridl will all be featured in multiple roles.

Gage Johnson is Vlad, Amelya Villegas is playing Phanny, Wyatt Reid is Griffin, Zoe Fahrnow is Frankie, Hunter Moore plays Todd the zombie, Mikaela Villegas is Fida, Aiden Berntson is Humphrey, Kodi Schulz is Viktoria Frankenstien, Emma Cudiff is Vonda, Blake Benson portrays Cosmo, Alexis Obergfell is Chelsea and Riley Ann Harms plays Riley. Emily Rose Ferguson is assisting Director Arch Ellwein.

There will be a 2 p.m. Friday matinee for the Middle School student body. Showtimes at the Sidney Middle School Auditorium are at 6:30 p.m. each night Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19. Admission will be a freewill donation to the Eagle Foundation going toward supporting Sidney Schools and our students.
