Belle Fourche Pipeline Donation

Belle Fourche Pipeline Company donated $10,000 to the McKenzie County First Responders Disaster Fund on July 18. Pictured (L-R) are Shawn Kadrmas, Belle Fourche Safety Specialist; Karolin Jappe, McKenzie County Emergency Manager and Don Clark, Belle Fourche Director of Operation.

McKenzie County Emergency Manager Karolin Jappe explained to volunteers how the Doppler Radar Stations in Glasgow and Bismarck can only detect atmosoheric activity high in the atmosphere above the MonDak region at a donation event for victims of the tornado that hit in Watford City on July 10. This could have affected the amount of warning time that could be given to the residents before the storm hit.
