Northeastern Arts Network Big Sky Series Announced

The Northeastern Arts Network is pleased to present the 2018-19 Big Sky Concert Series to our community .This year's series features exciting live theatre and a kaleidoscope of musical entertainment as part of this art organization's ongoing commitment to provide quality entertainment to the community with a variety of shows that will appeal to every age and interest.
The first performance of the season kicks off with Montana Repertory Theatre's presentation of "Morgan and Merlin: Swords, Sorcery, and How to be a Hero". This magical, mystical tale whisks us to another place and time where knights and dragons, kings and wizards rub elbows with a modern-day sorceress with a fantastic surprise up her bejeweled sleeve. This captivating performance takes place on Thursday, September 13th.
Join us on Thursday, October 4th for the music of Kristen Estelle and the Heartstrings. Kristen Estelle was originally a Classically trained clarinetist, hailing from the prairies of (Malta) Montana. She eventually wound her way to the precipice of New York's vocal jazz scene. Singer/songwriter Kristen Estelle's melodies are full of wordplay and fun-filled jest. Her debut EP, Secrets, is a vivacious fusion of Indie-pop with a twist of jazz.
On November 1st, you won't want to miss the performance by Supaman. Supaman is an award winning Native American Dancer and Innovative Hip Hop Artist who has dedicated his life to empowering and spreading a message of hope and faith through hip hop music. Supaman combines Native American culture and urban hip hop culture which dazzles audiences and captivates listeners.
Sundae + Mr. Goessl joins the series on February 21st. This unique "Vintage Jazz" Award winning duo from Seattle has been delighting audiences across the US with their wit, charm and serious chops! The charming couple engages audiences of all ages with fresh arrangements of tunes from the 1920's-1950's. Voted Best Jazz Act of 2017 by the Seattle Weekly, this duo is sure to make your heart sway!
Back by popular demand, Six Appeal closes the series on March 28th. Six appeal is a world class vocal ensemble infused with sharp comedic timing, and the energy and vitality of a rock band. Swearing off instruments, the award winning vocal band Six Appeal takes you on a journey that spans decades of music – performing classic oldies, current chart toppers, and catchy original tunes – completely a cappella.
All concerts are held at the MonDak Heritage Center at 7:00 p.m. Season tickets can be purchased at the door: adults $50, senior $45, and students $35. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.
