Lee Lindsey, Family Trials And Temptations At The MDHC Annual Meeting

Join the MonDak Heritage Center for the Annual Meeting of the MonDak Historical & Art Society and the Family Trials and Temptations: Skeletons out of the Closet book program by author Lee Lindsey on Sunday, September 9 at 2:00 p.m. at the MonDak Heritage Center, 120 3rd Ave SE, Sidney.

A former Glendive Ranger Review reporter, Lee explores the Richland County homicide case of Loren Sharbono, who was found guilty in 1975 for the murder of his wife. After first declaring the death an accident, authorities later uncovered clues that led them to believe it was a homicide. Lee grew up on a farm in Eastern Montana, and her life intertwined with the murder in multiple ways. Immersed in a tragedy and a trial, she meets a man and finds a life she never dreamed possible. Reflecting on her past she revels in good memories, comes to terms with haunting ones, and lives with lingering bitter-sweetness. Lee will describe her book, her role in the trial, and how she researched and wrote it, as well as answer questions.

The Annual Meeting also features the MDHC Annual Report, board member elections, and refreshments! Free to the public! For more information on the program call 406-433-3500 or e-mail [email protected].
