4th Annual Bootlegger's Ball Oct. 20

The Sidney Elks Lodge BPOE No. 1782, is excited to announce the 4th annual Bootlegger’s Ball “Havana Nights” to be held at the Elks Club October 20, 2018, 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight. This event will feature spirit tasting from some of Montana’s finest distilleries, including Dry Hills Distillery, Bozeman; Willie’s Distillery, Ennis; Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits and Head Frame Spirits, Butte, and Wildrye Distilling, also from Bozeman. The spirit sampling will be from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. In addition to the samples, the Elks will be mixing signature drinks using Montana spirits, which include the “Montana Mule”, “Montanarita”; “Silver Run Mojito”, “Red Ant” and “Huckleberry Lemonade”. Two free drink tickets are included in the $50.00 ticket price. With each ticket sold, the Elks will provide a free Sidney Shuttle ticket for a safe night of fun.

Hearty Cuban and island themed appetizers will be provided throughout the night by Kat’s Kitchen of Sidney. Music will be provided by “The Relics”, a local band that plays a variety of county, classic rock, blues and oldies. In addition to the samples, drink, food and music, there will be a photo booth, and period or theme dress is definitely encouraged.

All profits from the night go to Erin’s Hope Project, Inc., an Eastern Montana charity located in Miles City, Montana, which specializes in providing outdoor adventures for Montana kids aged 5 to 25 with a life threatening illness; and Camp Make-a-Dream, a long time Elks charity dedicated to kids with cancer.

Tickets are now on sale at the Elks Club and at the Sidney Liquor Store. All tickets are $50.00. The public is welcome and invited along with all Elks members. If you have questions about the event, please call Lee Armstrong, (406) 433-7700 or the Elks Club (406) 433-2406. Hope to see you there.
